Does Alcohol Have A Glycemic Index?

This ia a question that I seem to get a lot of. What is the glycemic index of vodka? What is the glycemic index of tequila? How about that beer glycemic index? Hmmm....I wonder if drinking is a good idea but who am I to judge! Well, the answer is tough. Since beer and other alcohol has very little carbs, it's a hard thing to measure. I guess I would have to say that it is very low. However, that does not mean that you should start drinking more!
